Save an alternate assembly member as a separate assembly


  1. On PathFinder, click the Alternate Assemblies tab.

  2. On the Alternate Assemblies tab, click the Save Member As button .

    Note:

    For QY CAD data management users who selected the option Automatically name files via Document Number and Revision, the system displays a dialog box where you can assign common properties, such as document number and revision number, as explained in Create documents with unique properties.

  3. On the Save Member dialog box, specify the file name and location, then click Save.

Tip:

  • When you save an alternate assembly member as a new assembly document, the new assembly document is not an alternate assembly.
